Everyone who paddles whitewater shares a passion. Kayaking, for many reasons, has evolved our lives. We all desire to be better at what we love. After all, becoming more skilled is part of the passion.
Improving on you own is tough. It may take you a summer to figure out what could have taken a few days to master with the right instruction. Ace instructors come from competitive, athletic backgrounds. We know the most efficient strategies to help you reach your potential. Whether your goal is to learn freestyle moves for a rodeo or paddle the Ocoee without difficulty, Ace coaches are trained to help.
Ace is not a mega-corporation, trying to sell you kayaks, gear, or raft trips. We are a small group of experienced, sponsored athletes who want to share our knowledge with you through personalized coaching. Others may offer kayak kindergarten; we provide graduate school for paddlers.
The facts:
-- We promise a 2:1 student to instructor ratio. Most clients receive 1:1 attention.
-- Sessions are limited to four students.
-- Kayaks are provided free of charge, including all the newest Perception Models.
-- We offer video analysis of your progress. We film the maneuver properly performed by our instructors, then tape you for review at our beautiful outpost on the lower Ocoee River.
-- Prices are $25 per hour for 1:1 instruction, $20 per hour for two students.
-- We can design a multi-day experience to meet your needs.
-- You can speak to your coaches via E-Mail or toll free, before and after your session.
-- Each instructor is ACA certified.
-- We are permitted by the U.S. Forest Service and Tennessee Valley Authority.
